Limited scope representation
From the firm's own explanation
“Do not avoid contacting an attorney because you think your issue cannot be addressed in a manner within your financial constraints.”Shriver, O'Neill & Thompson
The firm explains that a client may hire an attorney on a limited basis in a civil matter when limited consultation is reasonable and the client gives informed consent. The work can fit the client's objectives and available time or financial resources.
